Our Rental Fleet

Stand-Up Paddleboarding

Stand Up Paddleboarding is a phenomena taking off on the west coast. This summer Greenwich Community Sailing is bringing the sport from California to Long Island Sound. Junior and Adult Program courses are also offered for those interested in a lesson before heading out.

Hobie Getaway

One of the most exciting boats in our fleet, the Hobie Getaway is a 17' rotomolded catamaran, ideal for the experienced sailor. With a mainsail and a jib, it is larger and roomier than the Hobie Wave. It is the perfect boat for a high performance sail for two, or for a fun and exciting outing for the entire family.

Hobie Wave

Very fast, yet stable; this boat promises a wet and wild ride when the breeze picks up. Known for its simplicity, you will find the Wave one of the easiest catamarans to sail. The Hobie Wave can easily handle up to four adults, although it is ideal to sail with just two.

Hunter 140

A family oriented day-sailor capable of carrying up to four passengers. This centerboard boat equipped with both a mainsail and jib is stable and easy to handle in most conditions. Capsizing is rare due to the reduced sail area in the mainsail. Pack a lunch and head out for a few hours!

Laser

This famous design is a popular choice for intermediate and advanced sailors since it is so fast and powerful. A Laser can be relatively easy to handle in lighter breezes, but this boat can really get up and go when the breeze picks up, making it difficult to manage if you aren't experienced. Expect to get wet, and possibly capsize! These boats can carry up to two passengers comfortably, although it is best to single-hand as an adult

Pico

Greenwich's entry level trainer, the Pico is a favorite of junior sailors. With a very forgiving roto-molded plastic hull and modest sail area, the Pico is perfect for juniors who are learning the basics. In heavier winds, the Pico's main sail can be reefed, making the boat easier to handle. These carry two children or one small adult comfortably.

Hobie Kayaks (Single & Double)

These boats are quick and agile, yet stable and easy to use. No experience necessary. Go for a relaxing paddle, or go the distance and paddle hard building strength and endurance. The most popular rental boats in our fleet; kayaking is the fastest growing sport in the nation. Give it a try!
